Angie Novak
Clinical Placement Coordinator
Angie Novak is the clinical placement coordinator in the Department of Nursing at the University of North Dakota. Novak received her Licensed Practical Nursing diploma from Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls, SD, her Bachelor of Science in Addiction Studies from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD, and is currently working on her Master of Public Health degree at the University of North Dakota.
Novak has more than 20 years of experience in health care and higher education settings. Prior to coming to work in the Department of Nursing in 2017, she held positions at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, and at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she grew to love working with students at both the undergraduate and graduate level. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children at their country home.
