Grow from advance practice nurse to expert practitioner.

There’s a growing movement to set the Doctor of Nursing Practice as a new baseline for advanced practice nurses. In fact, by 2025, nurses aiming to become Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists will be required to earn their D.N.P.* If you’re committed to providing the highest quality of care, it’s time to pursue the highest level of nursing education — your D.N.P.

UND’s online Post-Master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice degree can help you develop skills that position you to make large-scale improvements in health care practice and administrative policy. Start building your confidence as a nursing expert by earning the credentials you need to influence change and continue advocating for quality patient care. Your path to leadership continues with UND.

Why earn your Post-Master’s D.N.P.?

  • Focus on clinical medicine: Nurses with a D.N.P. remain at the frontlines of health care, helping to create better outcomes through direct action as opposed to research and theory, according to Nurse.org.
  • Compensation: The average salary for nurses with a D.N.P. is $120,460, according to In-House Research.
  • Industry credibility: D.N.P. nurses are well-respected and better positioned for leadership opportunities at the highest levels of their practice.
  • Increased level of care: A doctoral degree in nursing helps ensure that you learn critical skills driven by evidence‑based practices.
